Thermal transfer printing is the most common approach used in variable printing on labels.  A thermal print head is used to generate heat energy that in turn transfers the ink from a ribbon onto the label stock, generating the desired image.  We are able to use a variety of stocks and finishes to accomplish the unique needs of clients for this print method.   Direct Thermal is a similar print method that does not use a ribbon, but instead applies heat to the surface of the label to create the image.  When deciding what approach is best and how to create the ideal solution think of Capital Label.
